옛날 5학년 때 Mrs. Lutz께서 읽어주신 시 그림책.....

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.   

His house is in the village though;   

He will not see me stopping here   

To watch his woods fill up with snow.   

 

My little horse must think it queer   

To stop without a farmhouse near   

Between the woods and frozen lake   

The darkest evening of the year.   

 

He gives his harness bells a shake   

To ask if there is some mistake.   

The only other sound’s the sweep   

Of easy wind and downy flake.   

 

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,   

But I have promises to keep,   

And miles to go before I sleep,   

And miles to go before I sleep.

Mrs. Lutz께서는 문학시간에 저희에게 읽어주셨습니다.

그 때 Justin, Danny, chi hun도 같은 한 반이었는데요....

 

깊게 문학적이시고 약간은 cynical하신 5학년 초등학교 선생님이셨어요....

 

이 분으로부터 little prince, 갈매기의 꿈, 그리스 로마 신화, 나니아 연대기 bridge to terebithia, tuck everlasting등 수많은 명작들을 배웠습니다.
