the sunshine bursting in on the 26th of december

It's a dusky morn and the day is illumined....

흐릿한 아침이지만 태양이 비추고 날은 밝습니다.

soon it will be New Years' Eve.

곧 새해 이브가 되겠지요

 

2024 is about over and 2025 is awaiting around the corner

2024년은 끝이 가까이 왔고 바로 너머에 2025년이 기다리고 있지요.

 

many joys and mishaps have happened during the year

많은 즐거움과 많은 사고들이 이 해에 일어났습니다.

but it's all coming to a close now

하지만 이제 이 해는 서서히 저물어가고

and 2024 will be another year down in our and history's memory.

2024년은 우리의 삶속에 그리고 역사속에 또 지나간 한 해로 자리잡겠습니다.

 

but the Lord Jesus has already come 

하지만 예수님은 이미 오셨습니다

to shine another year's coming

또 새로운 한 해를 비추시기 위해서

 

the Christmas has been a strong vibrant reminder that our Savior lives still

크리스마스는 우리 구세주가 살아계심을 상기시키는 강하고 생동감있는 날이었습니다.

in our hearts 

예수님은 우리 마음에 살아계시고

but also in the Realm of Heaven

또 천국의 나라 속에 실제 존재하고 계십니다.

awaiting to return once more to greet us in awful and glorious Judgement

그 엄숙하고 영광스러운 심판날에 다시 오셔서 우리를 만나시기 위해 그는 기다리고 계십니다.

and to be with us all in all His Glorious Presence.

그 때 그는 영광스러운 존재로 우리와 인제는 함께 버성길 날이 될 것입니다.

 

That day also has neared a year in time and history.

그 날도 시간과 역사 속에서 근 일년이 앞당겨졌습니다.

 

 

Someday the Second Coming of Christ will be celebrated 

그 날 주님의 재림이 축하되는 그 날은

perhaps on the 3000th Christmas day

어쩌면 크리스마스 기념일이 3000번째인 날일찌도 모르죠

and the 26th of December

그리고 12월의 26일은

will be just as joyful

크리스마스날만큼이나 즐거운 날이 되겠습니다

not wane and desolate as if the only worthwhile event day had passed.....

마치 참 의미있는 이벤트가 있는 크리스마스가 지난 빛바랜 그리고 황량한 날로 자리매김하는 것이 아니라요.

 

But if you think of it,

어떻게 생각해보면

Jesus lives on

예수님은 살아계시고

and it's always a Christmas Day !!
