the tusks of sea lions
the ox with it horns
the moose with its broad stems
the deer with its antlers
the menace of the grass eaters
the peaceables on earth
the small grouches of these grazing animals
the shiver that goes through
at the smell the scent of a carnivore
the slick movement of a predator near by
and the whispers of a lover in your ears
with his breath breathing on your neck
and his hands on you
the whispers of a baby gurgling
the sound of a sweet child sleeping
the breeze
the sound a flower blossoming
the grand universe and the movements of its atoms
the great wonders of God in a whisper
of silence
contained.
