The attorney general under the scrutiny of the whole nation went on to confirm that russian efforts to influence the election could not have been coordinated by any fellow americans or anyone related to the trump campaign.

 

William Barr, the then attorney general stated his conclusion in public that the allegations of russians collaborating with americans and those of the trump team to influence the elections were unfounded and untrue.
